Weber County DUP Museum

A Top Rated Pioneer Museum ~

The Weber County Daughters of Utah Pioneers (DUP) museum is a jewel that was tucked away in our community.  It has now been relocated, renovated, and is more beautiful than ever with so many improvements that we are anxious for all of our visitors to see how wonderful the museum has become.

The Daughter’s mission is to preserve and maintain the Weber County DUP Museum building and the Miles Goodyear Cabin, and to remember the lives and achievements of Utah pioneers; especially those who founded our Weber County communities.

As you tour the museum, you will find that our stewardship of collecting and preserving artifacts, photographs, and histories is to increase the understanding and appreciation of pioneer heritage.

Our Museum Board and docents work hard to care for the historical donations that have been left for us to protect.  The stories of those who came before us are wonderful and tell us so much as they share their lives with us through their story. Sometimes the stories are so close to our hearts that we feel all they were going through.

The Museum is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation and all donations are tax deductible. As with most museums that are not-for-profit corporations, it is a constant job to raise funds to
meet our operating expenses.
Revenue from our Friends of the Museum is the foundation of our budget. With our Friends support we are able to pay for our ongoing expenses, educational programming, special events, and public awareness programs.

We invite you to become a Friend of the Museum.

You may donate in the name of an area pioneer family if you wish.

Thank You For Being A Friend!
